National University of Singapore SCALE Youth Programmes
The National University of Singapore (NUS) is the country's premier institution of higher learning and a world-class university. Over the years, NUS has evolved into a comprehensive research university comprising 16 faculties. As of 2024, NUS ranks 8th in the QS World University Rankings and 17th in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
The NUS SCALE Youth Programmes aims to provide young leaders with opportunities to expand their professional knowledge and gain inspiration. Participants will experience the vibrant culture of NUS while developing essential soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, and public speaking. These skills are crucial for personal and professional growth, ensuring that participants are well-prepared to face future challenges. In addition to academic instruction, the youth camp offers a variety of practical and experiential activities to deepen understanding and facilitate the application of knowledge in real-world contexts. Through these learning opportunities, participants will immerse themselves in the academic environment of NUS and accumulate valuable experiences.

Features
Pathway to Innovation & Leadership
During a week of experiential learning, participants will engage in interdisciplinary challenges and practical projects under the guidance of distinguished professors and mentors from the NUs. They will establish connections through cross-disciplinary learning in lectures by NUS professors, starting from real societal issues, and participate in workshops focused on analytical thinking and leadership skills necessary to address these issues. Participants will explore social topics through teamwork and present their insights in groups, preparing themselves for future challenges.
The youth camp is hosted by NUS College, the interdisciplinary honors college of the National University of Singapore, providing high school students with an authentic experience of academic and student life at NUS.
